    The New The xx Record Reportedly Samples Drake

    The xx sampled Hall & Oates on their single On Hold, but it looks like they're set to dip into hip-hop a bit more with their new album I See You reportedly featuring a Drake sample.

    The album credits list Drake on a song called Anxiety and NME is reporting that the sample is taken from Drake's Doing It Wrong off his Take Care record.

    It's an interesting circle because Drake sampled producer Jamie xx on the title track to that record, featuring Rihanna. Take Care originally featured on xx's collaboration record with Gill Scott Heron, however, Drizzy and RiRi appropriated it for the biggest hit from the record.

    I See You is out on 13th January and it features the singles On Hold and Say Something Loving, the latter of which was released just days ago.

    Pretty excited for this record, tbh.
