    It was seriously only the other day that Mark Ronson came up in conversation, with most of the talk based around his lengthy hiatus from the music biz…

    Well it turns out our Spidey senses must have been at work as we woke up this morning to not one but two new tunes from the super producer’s forthcoming album Uptown Special which drops late Jan 2015..

    First up comes the ridiculously good A&R decision to team up with Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker on Daffodils and if you believe what you read, ol’ mate Kev is going to play a role on 3 of the album tracks.

    HOW GREAT IS THIS?!
     

    And following on from teaming up with one of the biggest indie stars in the world he’s gone down the other path on the second jam and joined forces with one of the world’s biggest stars full-stop in the form of Bruno Mars on the, well… funky Uptown Funk.
     

    Is it just us or is Mr. Ronson tipping his hat to Duran Duran on that one? Regardless, based on the first taste, it definitely gives us an album to get excited about straight out the gates for 2015.
