Yep, it's that time of year again - triple j's Hottest 100, where we rack the corners of our brains to figure out our 10 favourite songs of the year.
2019 has obviously been a HUGE year for music, with new albums from the likes of Kanye, Tyler, The Creator, BROCKHAMPTON, FOALS, and Charli XCX, while new artists like Hobo Johnson, Lizzo and YBN Cordae all dropped ground-breaking new records that built their profile hugely in Australia.
Well, start collating those shortlists because triple j's Hottest 100 for 2019 will be open for voting on Monday, December 16th and closing Monday, January 20th.
The countdown itself will be held on Saturday, January 25th with the Hottest 200 broadcasted on the public holiday on Monday, January 27th.
In past years, triple j have raised money to charities like Lifeline and AIME, but this year they're focusing on the immediate issue at hand - climate change. All money raised this year will be donated to Greening Australia, who will run tree-planting projects around Australia.
