Justin Timberlake is due to take to the stage at the Super Bowl today during the half time show but the internet has turned its attention to Janet Jackson.
In 2004, Jackson and Timberlake performed together at the Super Bowl and it ended in an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction.
Jackson seemed to cop the brunt of the incident with Timberlake later admitting to MTV, “I could’ve handled it better.”
“I probably got 10 percent of the blame, and that says something about society. I think that America's harsher on women. And I think that America is, you know, unfairly harsh on ethnic people.”
There were rumours that Jackson would appear during Timberlake's performance today but she's shut them down.
Instead, she's being celebrated across the internet for decades of hits and brilliant performances, somewhat stealing the spotlight from Timberlake. She is currently out-trending Timberlake on Twitter just four days after he released his new album Man Of The Woods.
