If you go back and watch some older music videos, you might notice some artists that weren't famous back then, but are now.

Artists have been cameoing in each other's music videos for as long as they've existed, but it's always interesting to see artists that are big names now popping up before they were famous, or in some cases, releasing music.

A Reddit thread has taken us on a bit of a trip down memory lane, talking about the different cameos that you might have missed in some of your favourite music videos. You can check out the full thread here, but read on to see some of the cameos that have blown our mind.

Katy Perry featured in Gym Class Heroes' music video for Cupid's Chokehold, because at the time she was dating their lead singer Travie McCoy. Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump is also in the video!

Before she made a name for herself through her music, FKA Twigs was a backup dancer for Jessie J, and you can see her in Jessie's music video for Do It Like A Dude.

Janelle Monáe featured in OutKast's music video for Morris Brown, and she'd go on to be one of our faves. OutKast are always ahead of the curve.

Jennifer Lopez featured in Janet Jackson's video for That's The Way Love Goes as a dancer - maybe being a dancer for a pop star is a great way to learn their secrets to success?

    READ MORE:

Of course, this wouldn't be complete without Kim Kardashian's cameo in Fall Out Boy's Thnks fr th Mmrs - one of our favourite music video cameos of all time.
