Twitter has erupted with the knowledge that nobody really knows what to do with MP3's anymore.
Once upon a time, we'd download from iTunes, Napster, Limewire (take your pick) and put it on an iPod or an MP3 player ourselves. That actually wasn't that long ago but many people have completely forgotten what to do with an MP3 now streaming is around.
The conversation was struck by Kaytranada who said things have changed a lot since he released his Be Your Girl Remix on Soundcloud back in 2013.
"Now i gotta put it on streaming services cause some people don’t know shit about mp3s lol," he tweeted, blowing the minds of his followers.
While some argued that they still know what to do with an MP3, others admitted that they would probably be more handy with a cassette.

When Be Your Girl rmx came out, we didn’t need to put it on Spotify. Y’all could and y’all still can download the mp3 off the Soundcloud link and put on your phone yaself but now i gotta put it on streaming services cause some people don’t know shit about mp3s lol

I have a MP3 copy of every iTunes song I purchased on a Windows laptop. It's ok, I'm happy living in 2008.
