Tyler, The Creator and Solange are good mates and that warms our soul.
But we're not here to talk about their friendship, we're here to talk about a playlist Tyler made for Solange's site Saint Heron.
To celebrate turning five, Tyler delivered a nostalgic playlist full of songs that he used to bump in the eighth grade.
He's put Gwen Stefani, T.I., Usher and more on it with a description of what each song means to him.
"‘Confessions’ by Usher was such a massive album. FUCKING HUGE," he said about Wifey, a Pharrell-produced song that didn't make the album.
"Word went around that Pharrell had a few songs that didn’t make it (not sure if they were meant for that album), but a couple of them leaked. A stand out at the time was “Wifey.” Classic Neptunes piano, simple drums, infectious hook and melody, and the icing on the cake was P and Usher going back and forth."
Tyler went on to say that he emailed the song to a girl he was "crushing on" at the time.
"She wasn't feeling it," he said.
Don't worry Tyler. We're feeling it.
