The Splendour In The Grass 2018 rumour mill is already spinning with news that Arctic Monkeys have a big gap in their touring schedule for it. Unfortunately, we come bearing bad news though as we've scoured the internet to find out who most likely won't be playing the festival.

There are a number of festivals happening on the same weekend making it very unlikely that they'll be able to make the trip to Australia for it.

Huge Spanish festival Benicssim is happening on the same weekend which rules out The Killers, Travis Scott, Two Door Cinema Club, Bastille, The Vaccines, Catfish And The Bottlemen and Everything Everything to name a few.

Meanwhile, Lollapalooza Paris will also be going down which means you can scratch Gorillaz, Depeche Mode, Diplo, Kasabian, Rag 'N' Bone Man, Dillon Francis, RL Grime, Fidlar and Nothing But Thieves.

British festival Bluedot is also on at the same time which takes out The Flaming Lips, Little Dragon, Future Islands and The Chemical Brothers.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds is also locked in to play European festival Positivus. 

So while there are still heaps more possibilities still on the board you can deal with your disappointment now so we can soften the blow when the Splendour lineup does drop.
