While Little Dragon were in town for their blink and you’ll miss it two stop sold out tour they managed to sneak in to the triple j studios to take on Kelis’ Millionaire as part of the Like a Version series… and just when you thought you couldn’t crush any harder on Yukimi she goes and does the André 3000 rap… Phwoar!

Dreaming Of Hopium

There’s a fair amount of mystery surrounding Melbourne’s Hopium not to mention a severe lack of information on the world wide web about them but here’s what we do know…

Their new single featuring Phoebe Lou of Snakadaktal fame is ALL KINDS OF GOOD.

Dreamers is… well, a dreamy slice of indie-tronic pop and since landing in our inbox has been on constant rotation, seriously we’re gonna be dreaming about this track tonight and Soundcloud, if you’re listening do us a solid and build a repeat button into your player please.

When it comes to hip hop memorabilia the Beastie Boys are connoisseurs; true understanders of the value of brand and its potential for useless (but collectible and subsequently expensive) offshoots. A couple of years ago my band posted a song on Unearthed and Dom Alessio played it on Home & Hosed, and it was really exciting. Our music was played on national radio! Dom seemed to like it, and we were all very stoked. Since then though, it hasn’t really been played much since, and any new music we put up hasn’t really gotten much attention besides a couple of Unearthed spins.

And this is completely fine.
