Well-known Rick & Morty obsessive, Kanye West, has been offered his dream gig (probably) - the show's creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland have hailed Kanye a "fucking kindred spirit, genius, visionary" and offered him the chance to direct and write an episode.
The wacky cartoon just got renewed for 70 more episodes and Kanye was bloody stoked when he found out last year.
"This is my favorite show, I’ve seen every episode at least 5 times each," Kanye said excitedly.

And in an event this morning in the US, Dan and Justin basically raved about Kanye and his ideas.
As Complex reports, Justin said, "'Ye is a fucking kindred spirit, genius, visionary. If that guy had the support to do all the ideas he has in his head, he'd be fucking Elon Musk 2.0."
He adds they'd love for him to "hang out and do a voice," but then Dan went one better. "I'm giving him an episode. I'm making it official. We have 70, he can have one. Kanye, you can have one... It's official. That would be fucking amazing."
It's not the first time the show's creators have teamed up with rappers - last year, they collaborated with Logic by animating him into the show, and Rick and Morty appeared on Logic's album Bobby Tarantino II.
We'd definitely be keen to see Kanye bring his wild ideas to Rick & Morty. Stay tuned.
