Valentine's Day is here, which means it's time to pick the perfect soundtrack for your perfect date, whether that be with someone else or a self-love day.

Here's what music we think will help you have the best Valentine's Day possible, and even if you're getting over someone, help make February 14th a day to remember.

Khalid feat. Disclosure - Know Your Worth

Know Your Worth isn't the first time that Khalid and Disclosure have teamed up, as it's a year ago this week that the two acts teamed up to release Talk. It was a slight change of pace for the two parties, and it was a huge hit - so it's no surprise they've decided to work together again.

Know Your Worth is a bass-heavy dance track that elevates Khalid's vocals to another level, and is an important reminder to find someone that'll love you at your worst.

Ali Gatie - What If I Told You That I Love You

Ali Gatie wants 2021 to be the year that you tell the person you like how you really feel. What If I Told You That I Love You is light and breezy, giving his vocals centre stage - but his lyrics are a reminder to shoot your shot.

Speaking to Rolling Stone about the track, Gatie said, “Everyone’s been in that situation where they weren’t sure if they should confess their feelings or keep it to themselves, and most of the time you regret not saying how you feel." If you're wanting to tell your crush how you feel, let this song be the inspiration.

Usher feat. Ella Mai - Don't Waste My Time

If you're planning to waste Usher's time, he's got some advice for you - don't. You're more than welcome to touch, but don't mess him around.

Don't Waste My Time features British singer Ella Mai, and is smoother than butter - as you'd expect. The pair don't have time for games in their lives. The vibe's in the air, and they're feeling it, but if you're getting ready to mess them around, then you've got another thing coming.

    Doja Cat - Candy

Doja Cat wants you to know she's a snack on Candy, comparing herself to cherry, apple, pecan and key lime pie (damn, who's hungry?). If you're looking for something sweet, then she's got the flavour.

Candy is all about knowing your worth. If someone wants you, then they're going to have to work for it - but if they do, then it'll be worth their while.

Kehlani feat. Keyshia Cole - All Me

Kehlani and Keyshia Cole have teamed up on All Me to let you know that they made their partners. When you see their partners, that's all them.

It's a song about lifting up the ones you love (and turning them into the best versions of themselves). It's also about celebrating their successes. The track came out after a preview of it went absolutely huge on social media, and given the chemistry between Kehlani and Cole, it's no surprise.

The pair trade lines over the instrumentation produced by ReeceBeats, and while it's not Kehlani's most hype track, it's the perfect mood for Valentine's Day.

Lara Andallo feat. Lil Spacely - 180

Lara Andallo doesn't give a shit, and that comes through on her track 180. The Sydney singer's vocals are absolutely captivating on the track, and you'll get them stuck in your head.

Western Sydney rapper Lil Spacely's verse is written from the perspective of a boyfriend trying to convince their partner to stick around.

Speaking about the track to Cool Accidents, Lara says, "it's about when you know a relationship is on the rocks, but no matter how shit it gets, you always end up turning everything around, pulling a 180. The chorus is about that point, right after a fight when you’ve made up, and you seem to forget everything that just went down. You’re on this positive high like everything’s sweet.

"It was sick that we actually got to link up to finish the track and create that energy in person. Lil Spacely’s verse is ill. When we were at the studio laying down all the vocals, everyone was gassed. We just kept playing it back."

    Kali Uchis - Solita

Kali Uchis is all about self-love, even when it's hard to do so. Solita talks about a relationship that she's decided to leave, and is confident it's the right decision - even when it doesn't feel like it. After all, she says it's better than dancing with the devil.

Solita once again shows off Kali's ability to find the bright moments in emotional tragedy. She makes the heavy feel relatable, but at the same time, every ounce of emotion is conveyed through her crooning.

Pink Sweat$ feat. Crush - I Wanna Be Yours

I Wanna Be Yours sees Pink Sweat$ teaming up with Korean rapper Crush to sing about people they want, but can't quite have. It's an ode to unrequited love, with the pair trading verses over a hypnotic drum loop.

Both artists on this track want something that is unattainable, as the people they love are with other partners. We're not going to recommend trying to steal someone else's Valentine, but if you want to give it a shot, then this track might help you out.
