Anderson .Paak is making sure there's no confusion about what to do with his unreleased music when he dies.
He tattooed a relatively lengthy statement on his arm stating that he doesn't want any of his demos released.
“When I’m gone please don’t release any posthumous albums or songs with my name attached,” the tattoo reads.
“Those were just demos and never intended to be heard by the public.”
There have been plenty of very popular posthumous releases over the past year including Juice WRLD and Pop Smoke each record housing many features. .Paak, however, has steered clear of them.
This year, he's been working with Bruno Mars on the hugely popular Silk Sonic project. Leave The Door Open is already one of the biggest songs of his career and Skate, the second single, is flying too.
.Paak's stated nothing about releasing those demos while he's still alive, so if this Silk Sonic album doesn't arrive soon we may have to go looking for them.
