The Grammys have proven to be a happy place for artists like Beyoncé and Kanye West, but not everyone has had the same level of success. We've taken a look at some artists that we can't believe haven't won a Grammy yet, and the names here will surprise you.
Maybe some of these names will win one in the near future, and we'll keep our fingers crossed for them. Until then, read on to find out which artists have been chasing a Grammy for a while without success, and what might be holding them back.
Katy Perry has performed at the Grammys, as well as received 13 nominations over her career so far, but she's never been able to win a Grammy. She's lost multiple categories to Adele and Lady Gaga, including the 2011 Grammy for Album Of The Year to Adele's 21, which Katy's absolutely stellar Teenage Dream was up against.
Of course, Katy Perry is still one of the biggest pop stars in the world, and not having a Grammy won't change that. However, it would be nice for her to finally win one, after being nominated so many times. Next time she's dropping an album, we hope she's considered.
No, this isn't a mistake - Nicki Minaj doesn't have a Grammy. She's not too happy about it either, tweeting back in 2020, "Never forget the Grammys didn’t give me my best new artist award when I had 7 songs simultaneously charting on billboard & bigger first week than any female rapper in the last decade- went on to inspire a generation. They gave it to the white man Bon Iver. #PinkFriday".

Nicki's been nominated for 10 Grammys throughout her career, including the Best New Artist back in 2012. We'd love to see Nicki get a Grammy, as it'd be just recognition for one of the greatest female rappers of all time.
Major Lazer have been nominated for a couple of Latin Grammy Awards, including a 2020 nomination for Best Urban Song with Rave De Favela, but they've never won a gramophone. How is this possible when they have bangers like Lean On and Pon De Floor under their belt?
As a solo artist, Diplo has also been nominated for several Grammys, winning one in 2018 in the Best Dance Recording category with Electricity. We'd love to see Major Lazer get a Grammy, because it'd turn the ceremony into a party. Who's game to make this happen?
Janelle Monae performed Make Me Feel at the 2019 Grammys and amazed us all, but she's never won a Grammy. She's been nominated eight times, including an Album Of The Year nomination in 2018 for Dirty Computer. Considering her amazing conceptual albums, this feels purely wrong.
While she's never received a Grammy, she's made her mark on the red carpet multiple times. She's also left her mark on multiple Grammys ceremonies, so it's about time she got an award.
Snoop Dogg is a hip-hop legend, having been nominated for 16 Grammys over his career, but he's never won one. Just don't bring it up to him, because he doesn't want to hear it.
Speaking on the What Now? podcast, Snoop told host Arian Foster that he's not upset by the lack of a Grammy, but he doesn't want to know. Snoop says, "I don't focus on awards. But motherfuckers just be bringin' it up to me, and it make me mad when a n*gga bring it up to me 'cause I don't pay attention to it. N*gga, like, 'You know you got nominated 15 times for a GRAMMY,' and I'm like, 'I ain't trippin.'
"And then when it got to 17, I was like, 'Huh? Hold on.' Then I started looking at the n*ggas I lost to and I was like, 'Hold on, cuz.' THEN I started trippin'. I'm athletic, too. So I'm like, 'I'm better than you, n*gga.' It's bullshit. [laughs]."
Panic! At The Disco
Panic! At The Disco are one of the biggest pop-punk bands of all time, but they've only been nominated for two Grammys. The band was nominated in 2008 in the Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package category for their album Pretty. Odd., and in 2016 they received a nomination for Best Rock Album for Death Of A Bachelor.
We'd love to see Brendon Urie and the band celebrated at the Grammys in the near future, as they've been releasing great music for well over a decade. If we have to campaign to get them a Grammy, then we'll do it.
The Notorious B.I.G
While The Notorious B.I.G (aka Biggie Smalls) was instrumental in the popularity of '90s hip-hop, he never won a Grammy. His mid-'90s albums Ready To Die and Life After Death are both hip-hop classics, but they were never recognised by the Grammys.
In a twist of fate, he was nominated for two awards at the 1998 awards, receiving posthumous nods for Best Rap Performance By A Duo Or Group, and Best Rap Album. However, he lost both awards to former collaborator/label boss P. Diddy.
If there's any name on this list that we'd bet on winning a Grammy in the near future, it's Post Malone. After all, he's received three Record Of The Year nominations three years in a row now, for Rockstar, Sunflower and Circles, and he's the first artist to do so since Steve Winwood back in 1986-1988.
He's yet to win a Grammy yet, but with a long career ahead of him, it's only a matter of time. We wonder who he'll thank in his speech - we can imagine it'll be pretty chaotic. Will he drink Bud Light out of the trophy? Probably.
