    We've been keeping an eye on alt-R&B newcomer AUGUST 08 of late, particularly through the drop of his most recent single Simple Pleasures. 

    He's described the song as one about catching feels for someone you're having a casual fling with, but now the song has received an injection of rap flavour care of rapper GoldLink.

    Sitting atop the song's dancey beat - it's a "cry-on-the-dancefloor" type of song, AUGUST 08 told Cool Accidents this year - AUGUST 08's last release was 2018's FATHER EP and we're just waiting for more.
