Baby Prince and Mason Dane have combined on the melodic Fall Thru, with both artists celebrating that special woman in their life. Liam Thomas produced the beat for this one, and together, the trio have cooked up a love song that'll turn the heat up a notch or three. It's also a celebration of the grind, with the pair dropping bars like "I been working late night shifts for the commas" and "They popping out to watch me flex it I’m young and reckless".
It's not the first time the pair have linked up, as Baby Prince featured on Pretty Pearl, one of the standout tracks from Mason's recent EP Chasing Home. The chemistry that the pair showed on that track is on full display once more on Fall Thru, as the pair reference Rihanna, Elvis and more. This one's a hip shaker.
Speaking about the track, Baby Prince says, “This is the first song Mason and I made together. I recorded the hook in my room and posted it on my Snapchat story, Mason reacted to it and just like that the song was done. It was originally on a guitar beat from a different producer and I wasn’t really feeling the beat that much so I asked Liam Thomas to do his thing, so he cooked up that melody from scratch. This song been in the vault a long time, but it’s opened a lot of doors for me behind the scenes so it’s a special one fasho.”
Mason Dane also commented on the track, explaining, “I’m so glad this song is finally out - after 2 years, almost 10 versions and two videos we’re finally here. Me and Prince made this song in the first lockdown in 2020 and from that point it’s always been a favourite in our camp. Everyone always sings 'what’s the problem' at the top of their lungs so we knew it was something special people needed to hear. Prince is one of the hardest artists in the country and I’m glad people are finally catching on.”
