Beyoncé is releasing her new project Black Is King at the end of the month, and the official trailer has just been released.
Set to be released exclusively through Disney+, Black Is King is a full-length visual album inspired by the music from last year's The Lion King: The Gift soundtrack. Bey has written, directed and executive produced Black Is King.
There was a teaser trailer released for the visual album back when the project was first announced, but this official trailer showcases some of the celebrities set to appear in Black is King.
Black Is King is set to be star-studded, featuring the likes of Jay-Z, Kelly Rowland, Pharrell Williams, Bey's mum Tina Knowles-Lawson, Naomi Campbell and many, many more, including many of the artists that featured on The Lion King: The Gift album.
During the trailer, Bey provides a voiceover, saying, “You were formed by the heat of the galaxy. What a thing to be, both unique and familiar. To be one and the same, and still unlike any other.”
What follows is some gorgeous imagery, including some shots of space. To us, it looks like it's going to be a futuristic action movie of sorts, which has us very excited.
