It's been a huge year for Billie Eilish, and by now you'd think she wouldn't have any secrets left in her music, given how much people have been listening to it.
Well, that's where you're wrong.

It turns out that her hit Bad Guy samples an Australian staple - a pedestrian crossing.
Billie and her brother Finneas spoke to Rolling Stone about the song, including the construction of the vocals, working on the song separately, and recording the pedestrian crossing sample while in Sydney.
Billie said, “My mom and I went for a walk in Sydney, we were like across the street from the hotel.The crosswalk was this little, like, you press it and it’s like ‘doop…doop’ and I was like that’s hard! That’s the sound that it makes when you have to wait.” Honestly, who thinks of that? Amazing.
