Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak recently released the first single from their joint Silk Sonic project, Leave The Door Open, and it's one of the smoothest tracks we've heard this year.

Everyone's been loving it, so you'd assume things are all rosy in the Silk Sonic world. However, if you're following the pair on Twitter, things are kicking off.

It all started when the Grammys announced who'd be performing at this year's ceremony. Silk Sonic weren't on the line-up, and this created some issues. Apparently, Bruno had promised Paak that they'd be playing - and he hadn't delivered.

To fix the situation, the pair started a Twitter campaign, getting people to tweet #LetSilkSonicThrive.

Initially, both Bruno and Paak were holding out hope - but things have recently turned sour. Paak says he's "embarrassed af" by Bruno's empty promises, and while they'll always be close, maybe it wasn't meant to be.

Bruno returned fire and decided to get personal, making fun of Paak's teeth...

Paak responded with #RIPSILKSONIC, which has scared a few people, including Anthony Fantano.

Thankfully, it's all ended happily, and the pair will be performing at the Grammys. Of course, they'll have some apologising to do to each other before they go out on stage!
