Charli XCX has gone into self-quarantine, and to pass the time she's decided to keep a self-quarantine diary.

There's been two entries so far, and Charli opened up about her writing process, working with others, as well as her thoughts on the music industry at large.

In her first diary entry, Charli wrote about the struggles of being a "workaholic in quarantine", and how she wants to be doing more. She's going to be in quarantine for two weeks, and she says it's "an important time to take care of yourself mentally."

She also spoke about whether live streaming will become more and more popular going forward, and the nature of concerts/gigs. It's an interesting discussion, especially as more artists announce live streams to make up for cancelled performances.

In her second diary entry Charli spoke about her album, saying "the writing process of my next album" was nearly finished, with just one song to write.

She also spoke about the songs on the album, saying there are "less collaborations", and there will be songs about sex, physicality and the world ending - quite apt for what's going on.

Stay tuned for more entries - she'll be tweeting them out as they come to her head.
