Cordae hosted his debut TED Talk back in April, and it's now available for everyone to watch. The talk is based on "The Hi-Level Mindset", something that he learnt from watching his mum go about her life. During the talk, he explains, “The Hi-Level Mindset wasn’t something that she directly taught me or purposefully instilled in me, but something I learned simply by observation. The Hi-Level Mindset is a philosophy. It’s a wavelength to apply to your everyday thoughts or regimen."

He also dives into how he overcame early setbacks, including his outlook when one of his early mixtapes was only downloaded 200 times. Rather than let it get him down, he used it as inspiration to keep pushing. Building a legacy takes time, and Cordae's always looking forward. 

Earlier this year, Cordae released From A Birds Eye View, his introspective and mature second album. ​​It's a project that features some of hip-hop's biggest names, including Eminem, Lil Wayne and Gunna, and it's a reminder of why so many hip-hop fans are anticipating Cordae's every move.
