Music icon Dolly Parton is a fan of Cardi B, and in a recent interview with E! News' Daily Pop, Dolly's said she'd love to link up with the rap superstar. While they come from two very different genres, we'd love to see what the pair cook up together.

After being asked about the possibility of a collaboration with Cardi, Dolly told Daily Pop, “She’s a character. I know she’s an original.” High praise from one of music's most beloved figures.

Dolly also mentioned the possibility of collaborating in a different medium, hatching a plan to get Cher involved as well. Dolly revealed, "I would love to do something with [Cher] sometime, a TV show, or a movie. We’ll have Cardi B on that same show, let Cher host it, and me and Cardi B will be the entertainment."

Cardi's no stranger to collaborating with other stars - in recent years, she's worked with Megan Thee Stallion, Anitta and Lizzo, with all three collaborations becoming fan favourites. It's been a while since Cardi released her 2018 debut album Invasion Of Privacy, and signs are pointing to her second record dropping in 2022.

If anyone has the power to bring this collaboration to life, then you're absolutely obligated to do so. Cardi and Dolly would be an almighty pairing, and we're crossing our fingers and toes that they work together in some capacity in the near future.
