In absolutely awful news, rap royalty Dr. Dre has been hospitalised with a suspected brain aneurysm, according to a source that spoke to Deadline.

He's currently in the intensive care unit at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, with his condition currently unknown. 

Dr. Dre's friends have put the call out on social media for people to send their love and prayers, including the likes of Ice Cube and Missy Elliott.

In good news, he's jumped on Instagram to thank everyone for their thoughts and well wishes. We're wishing him a speedy recovery too and we hope his friends and family are doing OK given the news.
