We're big fans of Fred again.., and the way he's showcasing a range of emotions through dance music. We're not alone either, as Ed Sheeran is a big fan of Fred's. So much so, in fact, that the pair worked together on Ed's new single, Bad Habits.

Ed appeared on New Music Daily to chat with Zane Lowe and spoke about Fred's influence on the track. The pair have previously worked together on Ed Sheeran's No. 6 Collaborations Project, and they've got some serious chemistry, with Fred producing and co-writing Bad Habits.

Speaking about working with Fred again.., Ed says that Fred and his brother have a fun, jokey dance music group, Rain Radio, and their sound helped inspire the single. Rain Radio's ultimate goal is to get a "Vegas residency and chuck cakes into the crowd", which sounds like a lot of fun.

Ed told Zane Lowe, "I'd never really written dance music properly. I've never really like gone put my head to it and let's make it. And then when we finished it, I was like, 'This is actually quite good.' Played it to my manager. Because it was really like techno ... what I loved about it is Fred's approach to the vocals.

"It's barely a whisper. No, Fred's approach is basically just a whisper on the mic. He just said like, 'you'll have this massive bassy chugging and you have this tiny vocal that you've made huge. Man, it works out.'" Ed went on to give Fred a shoutout on Instagram, talking about Fred's album Actual Life, and we're loving the bromance going on.

You can check out Bad Habits below. It's a bit of a change of his usual sound, leaving behind his acoustic guitar for dancier, more club-ready sounds (no doubt thanks to Fred's influence). We're enjoying the direction Fred's helping Ed push his sound, and we're excited for what's next.
