Lil Uzi Vert has always expressed his love of space, especially with his album Eternal Atake, but according to Grimes, he's looking to take that love to a new level.
Grimes took to Twitter to announce that Uzi is looking to become the owner of WASP-127b, a planet that, according to @latestinspace, is "1.4x larger than Jupiter".
Apparently @LILUZIVERT owns this planet - just a heads up https://t.co/rcyQ2ts7Hj

Grimes also says that if the deal goes through (which it won't, as you can't actually buy a planet), he'll become the "first human to legally own a planet". What a world we're living in.
Documentation almost complete for @LILUZIVERT to legally claim wasp-127b - this is huge! First human to legally own a planet https://t.co/GBizLOC1yq

Frans Von der Dunk, a professor of Space Law at University of Nebraska-Lincoln, told Business Insider that the purchase was "fraud". “If someone sold him a planet or he thinks he owns this planet in the normal sense of the word, it’s simply not true,” Frans says.

Of course, given Uzi's previous antics, like getting a diamond installed in his forehead, what other people say/think won't bother him. He's already asked fans what he should name the planet, so if you've got any suggestions, send a tweet his way.
New name for MY planet ??
