Hayley Williams has just dropped her new album, FLOWERS for VASES / descansos, the follow-up to her 2020 debut album Petals For Armor.
She's been teasing it in recent weeks, re-directing her website to a site called Flowers For Vases, which currently has an animation and a short audio clip on it, if you want to go check it out.
Shortly before its release, Hayley posted the artwork and the track's release date to social media, which sent fans into a spin.

Posting on her Instagram about the release, Hayley says it's a lockdown album. She posted, "Wrote and played every part on this album myself. recorded all of it in lockdown last year."
If you were wondering what descansos meant, Wiktionary defines it as the plural of descanso, which is "a cross placed at the site of a violent, unexpected death, in memoriam." Pretty heavy stuff, and a sign of what you can expect from the album.
