Cardi B did her best to break the Internet last week with the release of her sexually explicit single WAP. Teaming with rising Texan rapper Megan Thee Stallion, WAP is a filthy three-minute celebration of women's sexuality with a star-studded film clip sure to give anyone with a pulse major heart palpitations.

While both female MCs are known for their provocative lyrics, they aren’t the first rappers to cause a stir with their graphic descriptions of intercourse. Hip-hop has a long history of female rappers owning their sexuality and spitting hot and heavy bars that would make your mum blush. In appreciation of these talented women willing to get down and dirty on wax, here are some the raunchiest rap songs to get you in the mood.

Khia – My Neck, My Back (Lick It)

Raunchiest lyrics: First you gotta put your neck into it / Don’t stop / Just do it / Do it / Then you roll your tongue / From the crack to the front

The ultimate ode to oral pleasure, Khia had rap fans in a tizzy with the release of My Neck, My Back (Lick It) in 2002. Offering an intimate description of what she wants her partner to do to her, Khia leaves nothing to the imagination with her graphic lyrics. A southern rap classic, the song came to prominence again in 2015 when it was covered by Miley Cyrus, helping cement Khia’s legacy in rap.

    Juicy J ft. Cardi B – Kamasutra

Raunchiest lyrics: Pussy so deep, you gon’ drown or gon’ swim (splash, splash)

Cardi B completely outshines Juicy J in the racy lyrics department on the duo’s trap collab Kamasutra. While Juicy J obsesses over his manhood, Cardi comes through with a verse where she confidently describes her sexual prowess while expressing her desire to go all night.

Lil Kim ft. Sisqo – How Many Licks

Raunchiest lyrics: And this black dude I called King Kong / he had a big ass dick and a hurricane tongue

When it comes to rapping about sex, nobody does it better than Lil Kim. Whether boasting about her bedroom technique (Nasty One) or dropping bars about cunnilingus (Magic Stick), the Queen of New York has never been shy about her sexual desires. As far as her filthiest song goes the field is wide open, but it’s hard to look past How Many Licks, a track where Kim goes into great detail about her sexual conquests and Sisqo provides the glorious hook.

    Rico Nasty – Ice Cream

Raunchiest lyrics: Pussy taste like ice cream, come and get this strawberry yum-yum

15 years after Kelis’ Milkshake brought all the boys to the yard, rising rapper Rico Nasty got men and women the world over paying attention with the taste of her Ice Cream. Comparing all the boys who want her to children chasing an ice cream track, Nasty gets, well, nasty, over a Kenny Beats production that samples an 8-bit ice cream truck theme.

Trina ft. Killer Mike – Look Back At It

Raunchiest lyrics: Licky licky licky licky licky for an hour / I’ma make it rain for you, golden shower

Trina is known for her overtly sexual wordplay and that’s exactly what you get on the Look Back At It. The third single taken from her hit 2008 record, Still Da Baddest, this salacious track showcases Trina’s inner freak and features Killer Mike trading political lyrics for a blow-by-blow account of his sex life.

    Salt-N-Pepa – Push It

Raunchiest lyrics: Salt and Pepa’s here and we’re in effect / Want you to push it, babe

It might seem tame compared to today’s music, but Push It caused quite the commotion when it dropped in 1987. Despite Salt-N-Pepa insisting the song is about dancing, it’s hard not to hear why people believe it’s about Getting’ Jiggy Wit It when the chorus continually urges you to “push it”.

Missy Elliot ft. Ludacris & Trina – One Minute Man

Raunchiest lyrics: If you can’t beat it up then eat it up

Missy Elliot has been low-key dropping nasty rhymes for years, but she really went for it on One Minute Man. Taking shots at the men who’ve disappointed her in the bedroom, Missy swaps rapping for singing over a classic Timbaland beat. Elliot warns her beau to be prepared for a night of passion while Ludacris brags about his sexual stamina and Trina drops a verse demanding her man to “stay hard”.

    Nicki Minaj – Anaconda

Raunchiest lyrics: He toss my salad like his name Romaine / And when we done, I make him buy me Balmain

One of rap's greats, Nicki Minaj has always never been ashamed of her body or sexuality, something she celebrates on the bouncy Anaconda. Sampling Sir Mix-A-Lot’s classic 1992 hit Baby Got Back, the rap-pop crossover is a celebration of body positivity and women’s sexuality, with Minaj demonstrating her storytelling abilities over the familiar ‘90s beat. The film clip will also leave you feeling hot under the collar.

Saweetie ft. Jhene Aiko & City Girls – My Type

Raunchiest lyrics: I like the type to eat the pussy ‘til I levitate

If Saweetie’s original isn’t raunchy enough, the remix adds verses from the soulful Jhene Aiko and City Girls' Yung Miami. While there’s no surprises with the offensive language spit by Saweetie or Yung Miami, it’s Aiko who delivers the most shocking rhymes, letting everyone know what boyfriend Big Sean needs to do to keep her sexually satisfied.
