Take yourself back to 2009, and the music that was playing on the radio at the time. Jonas Brothers were one of the huge pop bands of the time, and they were putting out hit after hit. A Twitter thread has taken us back to that time, after Twitter user @tsisquilisda put out a thread asking about a friend that she met on a flight while listening to the Jonas Brothers album together.
The initial tweet says, "if you were a lil white girl with glasses who flew alone on a southwest flight from oakland to baltimore in september 2010 and sat next to me and took turns listening to the jonas brothers album i love u and hope ur doing ok <3." We've all got someone that we met once that had a big impact on us, and this is @tsisquilisda's.

Twitter lit up trying to help @tsisquilisda find the girl, and she made an update to the thread, saying, "ok so i actually went by the date of when my grandfather posted the pictures on facebook but i realized there’s probably no way i was in middle school during this visit so it actually might have been august of 2009!"

This turned out to be pivotal, as @zoejonescohen responded to the thread, tweeting, "I live in baltimore hold up I went to Oakland in 2010 hold up". This left everyone on the edge of their seats.

This thread has a happy ending, too. @tsisquilisda returned to tweet, "hi guys we dm’d and they sent me a picture of them from back then and they’ve been found!!!!! thank you!" It turns out they live 5 minutes apart, too, so we're hoping they end up hanging out again.
lol guys we live 5 minutes apart

If you needed a pick-me-up this week, then let this thread be it. Sometimes, the Internet brings people together in a way that wouldn't otherwise be possible, and it's hard not to smile after reading this thread.
