R&B newcomer singer/dancer/producer Lara Andallo burst onto the scene with the awesome new single Confidential just a couple of weeks ago and she's already teaming up with her Aussie producer contemporaries to give the song even more flavour.
Lara's enlisted fellow Filipina Maribelle for the Confidential remix and it's somehow given the old-school R&B vibes of the track a club facelift that we're loving. Maribelle's chopped up Lara's vocals to create a helluva drop, but the song's also got a chillness to it that feels like the perfect gee-up track before a Sunday sesh in the sun.
Lara says of Maribelle's remix, "Confidential is already a very empowering song for me, but Maribelle’s take on the record highlighted all those positive vibes. It’s dope to see girls supporting each other and working together, plus we’re both Filipino too so, Pinay Power!”
Maribelle adds, "The first time I met Lara, we body rolled and twerked the whole time. She is so fun, and I had so much fun re-imagining this song.”
