Lil Yachty has admitted that he "fucked up" by confusing the cello for a flute in his song Peak A Boo.
"My new bitch yellow / she blow that dick like a cello," he raps on the song off his Teenage Emotions record.
Speaking with Genius, Yachty said that he's now aware that cello is not a woodwind instrument but reckons it's not his fault.
"Before you come at me, I'mma let you know. I'ma blame my A&R. Because he listened to that song many times and he allowed me to say that," he said.
"I guess for a second I thought a cello was a woodwind instrument and it is not."
He then made a second blunder saying, "I thought Squidward played the cello. He don't. That's a flute."
Well, he got it right that Squidward plays a woodwind instrument but it's actually not the flute, it's the clarinet.
Now, the internet that doesn't miss a beat, is roasting poor 'ol Yachty.
