Lizzo recently returned with new music, dropping a new single with Cardi B called Rumors. However, in the Marvel Universe, she's also collaborated with one of the X-Men, which officially makes her a superhero (at least to us).
In Children Of The Atom #1, it's mentioned that she's collaborated with Dazzler, one of the members of the X-Men. As well as having the ability to turn sound waves into light and energy beams, Dazzler (aka Alison Blaire) is also a huge popstar, and Lizzo features on her latest track.
Back in 2019, artist Aman Chaudhary turned Lizzo into Dazzler in a recent artwork, with the drawing based on Lizzo's appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Clearly, he saw the similarities, even back then.
I drew @lizzo as #Dazzler! #MakeDazzlerBlackAgain

Lizzo retweeted the image, as well as the comic, asking whether the mention was real. Children Of The Atom writer Vita Ayala confirmed that it was, writing, "I had to shout out one of the absolute best in the industry (both here and in the Marvel Universe)!"

In the comics, Dazzler uses her ability to turn sound into light to create massive light shows during her live performances, but after revealing herself to be a mutant, her career took a dip.

Working with Lizzo was used as a sign that people were becoming more accepting of the mutants, and their place in the world - and if Lizzo does have any superpowers (as we've long suspected), now would be a great time to reveal them.
