Lorde's Solar Power definitely had some cultish vibes to it when we first heard it/watched the music video, and that's now been confirmed thanks to a mash-up that sees the track soundtracking scenes from the 2019 horror film Midsommar.

First posted by NME, the video features Solar Power playing during key scenes of Midsommar, which involves a Scandinavian pagan cult - and the visuals used mirror Solar Power's music video pretty darn well.

The video, which was made by leandroxcx, has been well-received by most fans, except one that wrote, "awwww this movie looks so adorable its so cute i think im gonna watch with the whole family thanks for telling me about it ?".

They later returned with an update, saying, "DONT WATCH MY PARENTS ARE ANGRY AT ME! its so disturbing and my siblings are traumatised ???". Sometimes a little bit of research beforehand doesn't hurt...

Of course, if you're going to watch Midsommar, be warned that it is actually pretty terrifying. The video makes it look a lot more cheerful than it actually is - so be warned.
