On top of insane performances from Normani, Lizzo and more at the MTV VMAs this year, hip hop pioneer Missy 'Misdemeanour' Elliott was presented the Video Vanguard Award for her game-changing vision and incredible career, and we couldn't be more stoked to see her take it home.
Kicking off with a hilarious intro from Cardi B, Missy took the stage to perform her newest track Throw It Back alongside classics like Lose Control, Get Ur Freak On and Pass That Dutch and we absolutely lost our minds.
Literally the entire audience is off their feet dancing, from Taylor Swift to Halsey to Bebe Rexha.
She even brought her dance protege Alyson Stoner on stage to dance - remember her?! She's all grown up now.
It's a killer performance from one of hip hop's most influential figures - Missy paved the way for modern day hip hop and it's amazing to see her finally get the acknowledgement she deserves.
Back in March, Missy also received an honorary doctorate from the Berklee College Of Music, so it's actually Dr Missy to you.
Just last week she dropped a surprise EP, a six-track release called ICONOLOGY.
