If you've ever said something you later regretted, you might be able to relate to Elton John. He recently went on record threatening violence if Phoebe Bridgers didn't win a Grammy, and it's time for him to start swinging.

Phoebe was nominated for four Grammys this year: Best New Artist, Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song, and Best Alternative Music Album, but came up short in all four, which caught more than a few people by surprise.

In a recent interview with Phoebe on his Apple Music 1 show Rocket Hour, Elton said, “If you don’t win at least one, I’m going to hit someone, OK?” If you see Elton coming, you better start ducking.

We've got no doubt that Phoebe will win a Grammy in the future, as Punisher was one of the most emotionally devastating albums of 2020, and we're sure she'll drop some more music to make us cry in the near future.

She's taken it in her stride, too, posting a photo of herself on Instagram with all the Grammys she didn't win. She captioned the photo "me holding my grammys", so she sees the lighter side of things.
