    The Kid LAROI has smashed yet another record, collecting his first #1 album on the US charts.

    The Kamilaroi teenager's mixtape project F*CK LOVE shot to the top position for the first time, thanks to the release of the third part OVER YOU.

    At just 17, he becomes the youngest male solo artist to have a number one album since Shawn Mendes in 2015 and becomes the youngest person to reach the top spot this decade.

    He reacted to the news on social media in disbelief. "If someone told me that I’d have a number one ANYTHING let alone an album 3 years ago when I was in Australia I’d say that’s bloody ridiculous," he wrote on Instagram.

    "I know I say this a lot, but thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am nothing without you guys & it makes me so mf happy that this project has connected with y’all in the way that it has."

    The Sydney-raised teenager has been having a landmark year collaborating with both Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber. His collab with the latter Stay is currently sitting at #4 in the US and #1 in Australia.
