    Wafia Like A Version

    Wafia stepped up to perform this week's Like A Version for triple j, and knocked it out of the park.

    Her cover had an Aussie flavour to it, covering fellow popstar Troye Sivan's My My My!. Wafia transformed the song from a high-energy bop to a slow-moving, soulful ballad, driven by her haunting vocals.

    Backing vocals were provided by Lara Andallo and company, with Lara also dropping a new song Said&Done today - we love women supporting women!

    The cover is yet another success for Wafia this month, as she's just dropped her latest single, Flowers And Superpowers, which she also performed as her original on Like A Version. Speaking about the single, Wafia says, “Flowers & Superpowers was inspired by a night where I got a little too high off edibles and was the worst/most paranoid/talkative version of myself.

    "The whole time I was thinking if the person I was with would still love me after this embarrassment of a night but they were nothing but loving, kind and caring as they helped bring me back down.
