UNO Stereo is the alias of Nic Martin, an ARIA-winning producer that's worked with some of the biggest names in hip-hop, both in Australia and overseas, as well as some of Australia's most-loved pop acts (such as Timomatic and Justice Crew).
He's worked with a who's who of Australian hip hop, producing for names like Seth Sentry, Bliss N Eso, ChillinIT, 360 and Drapht, as well as working with international stars like Khalid and Wiley, co-producing on Khalid's huge debut album American Teen.

He was inspired to start producing music when he first heard Chronic 2001 at the age of 11. He grabbed a copy of the Playstation 1 game MTV Music Generator, and tried to replicate the beats from Chronic 2001 using the samples and loops available in the game - and from there, his love of analysing the production in music took off.
UNO Stereo doesn't just produce for other people - he's also been dropping his own music through the years, including his 2016 single GOT U featuring MAJERLIE. It sees UNO Stereo turning his hand to future-bass, blending in touches of R&B - both genres that would feature in his producing future, so it was definitely a sign of things to come.
In 2019, UNO produced Kaiit's track Miss Shiney, which would go onto win an ARIA for the Best Soul/R&B release. The win marked his second ARIA, winning his first back in 2015 for his work on Seth Sentry's album Strange New Past.
He counts these as some of his favourite records he's worked on - as well as BLESSED (fka Miracle)'s album Mainland, which was the first time he worked with Styalz Fuego, as well as the first full-length project he worked on. He got together with BLESSED and Styalz, and made a full record together - and he credits it as the way he levelled up as a producer, shaping his sounds into what's seen him be so successful ever since.
UNO's latest production credit saw him teamed up with Styalz Fuego and BLESSED to produce Sydney rapper B Wise's latest single Think Twice, which is a collaboration with the UK's Kojey Radical.
Speaking about the track, B Wise says it's emulating “Kanye’s 808’s era, mixed with trap melodies and hints of afrobeat", and is a taste his second album due out in the second half of 2020, which UNO will assist in producing and guiding the album's direction.
UNO Stereo has just dropped his Innerludes EP beat tape, and it features a slew of artists like Ojikae, Jordan Dennis and more - when he links up with an artist, he takes their music to the next level.
