It's summertime over in the US, and former US President Barack Obama's just released his summer playlist. Surprise surprise, it's full of hits.

It's a mix of old and new tracks, featuring the likes of Bob Marley and Stevie Wonder, as well as artists like SZA, Drake and Migos.

The playlist also features an Australian artist, with Barack including Sydney rapper Masked Wolf's global smash Astronaut In The Ocean.

Writing about the playlist, Barack says, "With so many folks getting together with family and friends, there’s a lot to celebrate this summer. Here’s a playlist of songs I’ve been listening to lately—it's a mix of old and new, household names and emerging artists, and a whole lot in between."

It's the perfect playlist to play when you're with loved ones - and for us Aussies, we'll want to keep this one in our back pocket for when summer rolls around.
