Dua Lipa will be making her film debut in the Apple TV+ film Argylle later this year, and the source told The Sun that “Dua is making waves in both music and movies. She really impressed in Argylle and word spread around Hollywood about how good she was.
“Now she has joined the cast of Barbie alongside big names including Margot, Ryan Gosling, Will Ferrell and Saoirse Ronan." That's a stacked cast, and we're looking forward to seeing what role Dua plays in the film.
The screenplay, which Greta Gerwig wrote with her partner Noah Baumbach, is rumoured to feature various versions of Barbie and Ken. Dua's currently on a world tour to support her second album, Future Nostalgia, while also working on her third album. The grind is so, so real.
Dua also recently teamed up with Megan Thee Stallion for the seriously sweet Sweetest Pie, a track that's all about the joy of being a woman. To celebrate the track's release, we teamed up with the ultra-talented Sydney baker Katherine Sabbath to create a Sweetest Pie-inspired dessert. You can check out that video here!
