Dua Lipa is set to star in Argylle, an upcoming spy thriller, and she's shared the first image from the movie. The picture, which features co-star Henry Cavill, doesn't tell us too much about the film, but both stars are looking glamorous.
The Apple TV+ movie is set to be directed by Kingsmen's Matthew Vaughn, and will also feature John Cena, Bryce Dallas Howard, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O'Hara, Sam Rockwell, Ariana DeBose, Rob Delaney, and Samuel L. Jackson. What a cast!
It's based on Ellie Conway's novel of the same name, and features an amnesiac spy that's looking for revenge after being fooled into believing he's a successful novelist. It's set to be Dua's acting debut, and she'll also be creating original music for the film's title track and score.
Speaking about the film with Deadline, Matthew Vaughn had nothing but glowing praise for the script. He revealed, "When I read this early draft manuscript I felt it was the most incredible and original spy franchise since Ian Fleming's books of the '50s. This is going to reinvent the spy genre."
Check out her Instagram post below. We're looking forward to learning more about this film, as no release date is set yet. However, when it is, we're not sure we'll be talking about anything else for a little while.
