FKA twigs and Nigerian artist Rema have released the video for Jealousy, one of the highlights off twigs' recent project CAPRISONGS. There's an '80s/'90s feel to this video, with twigs and a group of dancers busting moves in front of a white background - and their outfits feel like they could be from another era.
The video was directed by Aidan Zamiri, while the choreography was put together by Kash Powell, who frequently collaborates with FKA twigs. Rema also features in some black-and-white shots, completing the retro feel of the video.
Jealousy follows the release of visuals for meta angel and ride the dragon, which both feature on CAPRISONGS. Jealousy a track about dealing with someone that's feeling jealous, and how they project those feelings onto you, with both twigs and Rema singing about how they've had people try and make them feel responsible for their feelings.
Speaking to Zane Lowe about the track, twigs said, "To me, it’s just, that’s the soul of the record; I’ve really pushed myself to connect more and to be even more collaborative, and to grow and step outside of myself."
