If you've ever overslept and missed a day at work, you'll know the terror that occurs when you realise what's happened. Now, imagine if you were heading to go work with Kanye West on his new album DONDA. Eek!

DJ Akademiks took to social media to share leaked screenshots of a conversation between Kanye and an engineer, and we're feeling for the engineer - it's not a good spot to be in. Kanye first wrote, “Good morning. Let’s work." Two hours later, he wrote, "You’re fired. Go home", after not hearing from the engineer.

The unnamed engineer responded, “I’m really sorry. I have no excuse. I set an alarm for 7:30am. And for whatever reason my phone wasn’t alerting me. I woke up at 11:08 to missed calls and got dressed as fast as I could. Lou was already on his way to get boogz and they just got here. I didn’t call back right away cause I was in panic trying to find a ride. I know this is unacceptable. I’m sorry.”

Kanye then proceeded to simply say, “Stop texting. Go find God.” Harsh, but simple and effective. Of course, people online saw this as an opportunity to get hired by Kanye, because you miss 100% of the shots you don't take
