Brisbane R&B artist Kedus turned heads with his debut single Sunset Dream, and he's returned to cap off 2021 with Konjo, a track that's full of longing. The song title means beautiful in Amharic, which is a nod to Kedus's Ethiopian heritage.

Konjo sees Kedus wishing for that special someone to stick around - they're leaving him confused, and he's not quite able to get his bearings. His vocals float over AIRAVATA's production, which draws from both afro-pop and R&B. Konjo is a track so silky you could sleep in it.

Speaking about Konjo, Kedus explains, “This track came from describing beautiful moments that were taken so soon. A story of chasing something or someone that keeps disappearing. It’s me saying, ‘don’t you know you’ve been my Konjo?’ Don’t you know you’ve been my beauty? A beautiful confusion.”

The song arrives alongside a video that's been shot by JAEN, and features Kedus searching for that special someone, before they arrive at different moments throughout the video. Of course, right when he least expects it, they disappear.
