Kehlani recently performed at Dreamville Festival, a festival put on by J. Cole's record label Dreamville Records, and as part of her set, she brought out a security guard that she heard singing backstage. Honestly, we're very jealous. We're not even going to try and hide it.
Writing on their Instagram story, Kehlani revealed, "This man was singing his ass off near me nefore [sic] the show started. I had to test his gangsya [sic] and bring him out he was AMAZING!!!!!” You can never be quite sure who's listening when you're singing to yourself, and the moment, which was first reported by NME, was thankfully recorded. It's a moment that'll warm your heart.
The crowd was clearly impressed by what they heard, and it's a moment that the guard will never forget. He rose to the occasion, too, using the time on stage to show off some serious pipes.
In other Kehlani news, she's currently preparing to release her third album, blue water road. The album is out on April 29th, and is set to feature singles altar, little story and up at night.
In the lead-up to its release, they shared the tracklist for the project, which will feature collaborations with Blxst, Justin Bieber, Syd, Jessie Reyez, Thundercat and Ambre. She's assembled an all-star cast for this one, and it's set to be a special project.

You can check out footage from the moment Kehlani brought out the security guard below. It's very wholesome, and one of those things that the guard will be telling people for a long, long time to come.
