Sydney born and bred singer/dancer/producer Lara Andallo has followed up the release of her debut single, Confidential, with another sexy little song called 180, featuring Western Sydney rapper Lil Spacely.
180 is a polished cut that showcases Lara's intoxicating vocals along with a solid dose of her no-shits-given attitude we love, while Spacely shines on his verse, written in the perspective of a boyfriend convincing his girl to stick around.
Speaking to Cool Accidents, Lara explains, "it's about when you know a relationship is on the rocks, but no matter how shit it gets, you always end up turning everything around, pulling a 180."
"The chorus is about that point, right after a fight when you’ve made up, and you seem to forget everything that just went down. You’re on this positive high, like everything’s sweet.
"It was sick that we actually got to link up to finish the track and create that energy in person. Lil Spacely’s verse is ill. When were at the studio laying down all the vocals, everyone was gassed. We just kept playing it back," she says of working with the Western Sydney rapper.
Lara's first single Confidential rightly turned the heads of R&B lovers, as did the remix she called on fellow Filipina artist Maribelle to work on.
