Basketball superstar LeBron James is a big fan of hip-hop, often taking to social media to share his favourite songs with his followers. He uses Instagram Stories to co-sign both rising rappers and hip-hop veterans - but he often doesn't know the lyrics of the songs he's rapping along to.
He recently gave a shoutout to Lil Durk, 6LACK and Young Thug for their track Stay Down, which features the lyrics, "hoppin' out the car, no photos, baby"- which LeBron was rapping.
However, as Twitter user @regi_nacho put it, he wasn't spitting the right lyrics. Instead he was saying, "yabadabadodobo old navy". Who's going to be the one to correct LeBron?
Lebron has always been good at keeping up w new music but the way he never knows any of the lyrics when he’s rapping along in his IG stories always has me weak af he really said “yabadabadodobo old navy” ? pic.twitter.com/gsDmrTZxyq

His confidence had 6LACK questioning his own song, posting on Twitter, "the sureness made me question my own lyrics".

Twitter users fired off over LeBron's mistake, while others said that it was high time that the lyrics were updated to LeBron's version.

Who knows - maybe we'll see LeBron jumping on a remix of Stay Down in the future?
