If you've ever wanted to get an exclusive live performance from your favourite artist, then you can now do exactly that thanks to a new website called Serenade.
Serenade was founded by music superfan Max Shand in May this year and is a great way for fans to connect with artists.
Fans can book their favourite artist to perform a song from their discography, and it's sent to them as a dedicated video. It makes a great gift for the people in your life (or just for yourself).
Their all-Australian roster has some of the country's most exciting acts, including Didirri, Slowly Slowly, imbi the girl, WAAX and many more. You'll want to check out the website to see who's on there, because artists are being added all the time. The best part is that artists get to take home 75% of the revenue from every song, so you'd be supporting them directly.
Speaking about Serenade, Max says, “I wanted to create a platform that ensured, irrespective of where fans or artists are based, they can still form that connection, and artists can earn an alternate stream of revenue.
"I wanted to create a platform that allows artists to make money at a time where most of the platforms available to them devalue their art. My goal is to say to artists, what you have is something brilliant, you just need to wrap it up in a new experience that makes a fan eager to spend real money on it."
