Get ready to experience Dr.Seuss in a whole new way.
Filmmaker Wes Tank has taken some of Dr.Seuss' most popular stories, and rapped them - pairing them with Dr. Dre beats. It's a mash-up that shouldn't work, but it really, really does.

His video of him rapping Fox In Sox over the beat from Blu Cantrell and Sean Paul's Breathe, which samples heavily from Dr. Dre's What's The Difference, is one of Wes' best, proving that sometimes, opposites go together perfectly (after all, we're not sure how family-friendly Dr. Dre's music is).
Speaking to NBC, Wes told the story of how the mash-up came to be. “It was just kind of a coincidence, it happened before a show I was playing. I found a copy of ‘One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish,’ and I happened to have a Dr. Dre beat on my phone. During the show I just impromptu decided to put them together. It was just kind of a spontaneous moment, and the crowd went crazy.”
Given the current coronavirus pandemic, he said it was the perfect time to record some videos of him spitting some Seuss rhymes. “I needed something to do, and I had been meaning to do some of these Dr. Seuss books rapping them with Dr. Dre beats, and I decided what better time to do this than right now."
