100 gecs have released Doritos & Fritos, the second single from their upcoming album 10000 gecs. If you're a fan of corn chips, then this one's for you. The song's title, Doritos & Fritos, looks like it's a reference to the legendary rapper MF DOOM, who rapped on 2004 track Accordion "That's why he bring his own needles/And get more cheese than Doritos, Cheetos or Fritos". The cover art also appears to be a reference to DOOM's mask, with a fork used to pay homage to the late MC's iconic headwear.

It's a bit of a departure from the band's hyperpop sound, but it's still as hectic as ever, while further exploring the band's ability to translate past trends into music that sounds utterly futuristic. The phrase "Doritos & Fritos" is 100% going to get stuck in your head for the rest of the day.

Doritos & Fritos follows on from last year's mememe, which featured glitchy production and a drumbeat that matches the intensity of everything else going on in the track. 100 gecs aren't afraid to bring together a myriad of musical elements and slot them into the one track.
